CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. – The Island Storm has added some size to its frontcourt.
Asauhn Dixon-Tatum, a seven-foot-one centre, averaged 5.5 points and 3.5 rebounds last season with the Maine Red Claws during the 2016-17 NBA G League with the Maine Red Claws.
He will play today in Sydney, N.S., where the Storm plays the Cape Breton Highlanders at 2 p.m. The Storm opens the National Basketball League of Canada regular season Saturday at 7 p.m. at home against the expansion squad from St. John’s, N.L.
