CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. – The Colonel Gray Colonels hosted the Three Oaks rugby teams Tuesday in Charlottetown.

The Axewomen defeated the Colonels 26-12 in the opener while the Axemen won 38-8. The Prince Edward Island School Athletic Association games were both close at the half.

Parker Cameron scored 14 points for Three Oaks while Cole Adams added 10 and Blake Jurkowski five. Abdul Abusheena had five points for the Colonels and John Mackenzie chipped in three.

Scorers from the girls' game were not available at deadline.
