LONDON, ONT. – The London Lightning has tied the National Basketball League of Canada final with the Halifax Hurricanes 2-2.
The home team has won the first four games of the best-of-seven series. Game 5 goes Monday at 8 p.m. Atlantic in London, Ont.
Mo Bolden had a game-high 38 points, including six in overtime, as the Lightning defeated the Hurricanes 122-144 Saturday night in front of 3,461 people at Budweiser Gardens. He also chipped in 10 rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocks.
Julian Boyd had 24 points and 14 rebounds for London while Garrett Williamson had 23 points, 13 rebounds and nine assists.
Antoine Mason had 36 points, 10 rebounds, six assists and four steals to pace Halifax. Tyrone Watson chipped in a double-double (17 points and 10 rebounds) while Ta’Quan Zimmerman contributed 14 points off the bench.
Halifax left 11 points at the free-throw line, going 16-for-27 during the game.
Game 6 is Thursday at 7 p.m. in Halifax while Game 7, if necessary, is slated for Friday, also in Halifax at 7 p.m.
