SOURIS – Tanner Gallant recorded two goals and an assist for the O’Leary Maroons on Saturday.
The Maroons skated to a 3-3 tie with host Kings County in a P.E.I. Midget AA Hockey League contest.
Ben Cooke also scored for the Maroons while Brady Sweet, Nathan Grigg, Max MacIsaac and Austin Banks added assists.
Three players – Dylan Miller, Ethan Yorston and Avery Smith – countered for Kings County. Single helpers went to Avery Reynolds and Justin McCarthy.
Kings County led 2-1 after the first period, and the teams were tied 2-2 after the second.
Goaltenders were McGuire Gallant (Maroons) and Cameron MacLellan (Kings County). Overall, O’Leary held a 28-24 shots-on-goal advantage.
