KINKORA – Hard work keyed a strong showing in track and field by Shaelynn McCardle.
The Grade 9 student has been selected as the Greco Pizza/Capt. Sub student-athlete of the month at Kinkora Regional High School after finishing first in the discus, first in the 100 metres and second in the long jump at the Zone 2 intermediate meet recently. Shaelynn went on to compete in the P.E.I. “She trained hard in the weeks leading up to the Zone 2 meet,” said KRHS track and field coach Norah Pendergast. “Great work Shaelynn!”
