KENSINGTON – The Kensington Whitecaps and Eliot River Ramblers earned victories in games played in the Subway P.E.I. Under-13 Soccer Leagues on Thursday evening.

The Whitecaps, behind Rodney Robinson’s four-goal effort, defeated Eliot River 9-2 in a boys’ First Division match at Queen Elizabeth Elementary School in Kensington.
Braydon McMahan contributed a hat trick, and John Beaton netted a pair of markers to round out Kensington’s scoring.
Cameron Burke netted both goals for Eliot River.
The Whitecaps led 5-1 at halftime.

Ramblers victorious
Meanwhile, at East Wiltshire Intermediate School in Cornwall, the Ramblers edged the Central Queens Clippers 1-0 in a girls’ Second Division contest.
Jada MacNeill netted the game’s lone goal.
