TIGNISH – The Razzy’s P.E.I. Junior C Hockey League championship series is now down to a best-of-three.

The Tignish Perry’s Construction Aces topped the Sherwood-Parkdale Metros 7-2 at the Tignish Credit Union Arena on Monday night to even the best-of-seven matchup 2-2.
Brydon Smith (2-1), Will Tuplin (1-2), Colton Chaisson (1-2), Drake Smallman, Jayden Arthur and Bryden Handrahan provided Tignish’s goals. Dawson Sellick (2), Braydon Arsenault (2), Keaton Horne (2) and Brett Ramsay added assists.
Jake Arsenault and Owen Arsenault answered for the Metros. Single helpers were credited to Stephen Gaudet and Marc Cummiskey.
The Aces built period leads of 2-0 and 5-1 while outshooting the Metros 47-28.
Brad Shea earned the goaltending win.
Game 5 is scheduled for the Cody Banks Arena in Charlottetown on Thursday at 8:15 p.m., with Game 6 back in Tignish on Sunday at 6:30 p.m.
