The Holland College Hurricanes captured the Atlantic Collegiate Athletic Association men’s soccer championship on Sunday.

League MVP Ibrah Sanoh scored a pair of goals and James Mallard added another one as the Hurricanes downed Mount Saint Vincent University 3-0 Sunday.

Sanoh’s first goal came in the 42nd minute in the firt half. Mallard’s unassisted goal came in the 83rd minute of the second half before Sanoh added his second of the game in the 89th minute.

Keeper Brandon Lund made seven saves in the ‘Canes net to pick up the clean sheet. Auston Luxton made nine saves in the MSVU goal.

Shots were 18-9 in favour of Holland College while the Hurricanes also had the edge in corner kicks, 5-1.
