The Capitals doubled the Tignish Aces 4-2 in the West Prince Women’s Recreational Hockey League game, played at The Plex.
Lindsay Picketts and Bethany Simpson also scored for the Capitals while Stacy Montgomery added an assist.

For Tignish, Nadia Shea (1-1) and Maria Callaghan found the back of the net.
Winning goaltender was Jillian Matthew. Judy Doyle was between the pipes for the Aces.
