CHARLOTTETOWN – P.E.I.’s two entries in the New Brunswick/P.E.I. Major Midget Hockey League will open their respective training camps for next week.
The camps are open to players born in 2001 to 2004.
The provincial-champion Kensington Monaghan Farms Wild will hold the first week of camp at Credit Union Place in Summerside, beginning with registration at 5 p.m., on Saturday, Sept. 1.
The Wild has on-ice sessions scheduled for Sept. 1, 2, 3, 5 and 6.
Players are asked to bring proper clothing for fitness and on-ice sessions.
Interested players are asked to pre-register by emailing [email protected], and include their name, age and position.
The cost of the camp is $150.
Pride
The Charlottetown Bulk Carriers Pride will get things going at the Bell Aliant Centre on the UPEI campus on Wednesday, Aug. 29. Registration is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
The Pride has on-ice sessions scheduled for Aug. 29 and 30 along with Sept. 4, 5 and 6.

Jamboree
The league will host its annual pre-season jamboree in Moncton, N.B., on Sept. 8 and 9.
The league’s regular-season schedule will begin in mid-September.
