QUISPAMSIS, N.B. – The Kensington Monaghan Farms Wild dug themselves in an early hole that they could not climb out of.

The Saint John Vitos jumped out to a 3-0 lead after one period, and would go on to build 4-0 and 5-1 advantages, en route to a 6-4 victory at the Q-Plex. It was the opening game of the 2018-19 New Brunswick/P.E.I. Major Midget Hockey League regular season for both teams.
Six different scorers – Carter McCluskey (1-2), Dalton Dunn (1-1), Nick Blagden (1-1), Jonathon Beers (1-1), Connor Richard and Caleb Kean – lit the lamp for the Vitos, who took a 6-2 advantage into the second intermission.
