KENSINGTON – The Prince County Warriors received a balanced offensive attack on Tuesday.
A total of 10 different players earned points as the Warriors downed the Mid-Isle Matrix 5-2 in a P.E.I. Major Bantam AAA Hockey League game at Community Gardens.
Ethan Reilly (1-1), Marshall Gallant, Sam Hackett, Garrett Culleton and Jesse Blanchard found the back of the net for the Warriors, who improved to 8-5-2 (won-lost-tied). Mike McRae (2), Will Smith (2), Jack Reilly, Liam Greenan and Colby MacDonald added assists.
Kyle Mason and Reese Wyand countered for the Matrix (3-13-0). Mitchell McQuaid and Carson MacKay drew helpers.
The Warriors built period leads of 2-0 and 4-0.
Turner Ellis registered the goaltending win.
