Prince County Warriors

The Warriors host the Charlottetown-based Central Attack in a game that has huge implications in the P.E.I. Major Bantam AAA Hockey League standings. The opening faceoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
The Warriors, who are 3-13-2 (won-lost-overtime losses) in regular-season play, hold a slim two-point lead over the Attack (2-14-2) in the battle for third place.
The Warriors, who have won five of their last six games, are coming off a successful weekend at the East Coast Ice Jam tournament in Bedford, N.S. Prince County won all three round-robin games, before losing to the Mid-Isle Matrix in the playoffs.
Warriors goaltender Chad Arsenault, who had two wins, a shutout, and a microscopic 1.67 goals-against average, was named top goaltender of the Ice Jam tournament.

Huge loss
The Warriors suffered a huge loss in the Ice Jam playoff game versus the Matrix as Austin Callaghan, the team’s lone returning defenceman, was sidelined indefinitely with a broken arm.
Callaghan will be sorely missed as he was playing great hockey.
The Attack, who is looking to move into a tie with the Warriors, has some firepower as Noah Griffin (13-9-22), Alex Graham (6-11-17) and Devon Howatt (5-6-11) lead the offensive attack.
