KENSINGTON – It’s a game that could have huge playoff implications.
The Kensington Moase Plumbing and Heating Vipers will host the Sherwood-Parkdale A&S Scrap Metal Metros in an important Island Junior Hockey League contest at Community Gardens on Sunday. Puck drop is set for 7 p.m.
The Metros and Vipers re tied for second place with 23 points each. Sherwood-Parkdale, which is 11-12-1 (won-lost-overtime losses), does have one game-in-hand on the Vipers (10-12-3).
This game could go a long way towards determining home-ice advantage in the first round of the playoffs.
Rett Rook is expected to make his home debut in goal for the Vipers.
