RIMOUSKI, Que. – Four players from Prince County earned assists for their respective teams in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League over the weekend.
Rimouski Oceanic forward Carson MacKinnon of Summerside assisted on the Rimouski Oceanic’s first goal in a 3-1 win over the visiting Charlottetown Islanders on Sunday afternoon.
MacKinnon now has 20 points – eight goals and 12 assists – in 45 regular-season games.

Noah Dobson of Summerside earned three helpers to improve his point total to 47 in 46 contests in helping the Acadie-Bathurst Titan to an 11-1 trimming of the visiting Halifax Mooseheads on Saturday night. Dobson, who plays defence, now has 10 goals and 37 assists this season.

Also on Saturday, Moncton Wildcats’ teammates Jacob Arsenault of Richmond and Jeremy McKenna of Summerside each contributed an assist in a 6-2 win over the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles at the Moncton Coliseum.
McKenna, a forward, now has 25 goals and 26 assists for 51 points in 47 games. Arsenault, a defenceman, has one goal and three helpers for four points in 41 contests.
