YARMOUTH, N.S. – Two players from Prince County contributed to their respective teams in MHL (Maritime Junior Hockey League) action Friday night.
Tyler Caseley of Kensington stopped 15 of 17 shots in backstopping the Yarmouth Mariners to a 3-2 victory over the visiting Campbellton Tigers.
Tigers’ sophomore forward Coleton Perry of North Bedeque contributed an assist.
Defenceman Logan Kelly-Murphy of China Point is in his rookie season with the Tigers.
Perry, a product of the Kensington Monaghan Farms Wild major midget program, also earned an assist in the Tigers’ 5-4 overtime win over South Shore on Saturday night.
