SHAWINIGAN, Que. – Carson MacKinnon of Summerside registered two points to help the Rimouski Oceanic to a 4-2 victory over the host Shawinigan Cataractes.
MacKinnon scored a goal and drew an assist In the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League game played Saturday night.
MacKinnon assisted on Jimmy Huntington’s game-opening goal on the power play in the first period, and closed out the game’s scoring, also with the man advantage, at 7:50 of the third period.
