SUMMERSIDE

Will Tuplin had a six-point night in leading the Tignish Perry’s Construction Aces to a 9-3 win over Summerside Crunch in a Razzy’s Island Junior C Hockey League game Friday night in Slemon Park.

The Aces led 2-1 after the first period and were up 6-2 after 40 minutes.

Tuplin contributed a goal and five assists in the win.

Brayden Arenault (2,1) had the Aces first two goals and Dawson Sellick (2,1) had their next two including the game-winner at 12:24 of the second period.
Colton Chaisson (1,1), Chase McCue (1,1), Lexin Gaudet and Chance Pitre also scored. Braydon Handrahan (4) and Brydon Smith (3) were credited with assists.
Andrew Gallant was in goal for the win.

Kolton Stright, Tristan Gallant and Marc Andrew Gallant replied for the Crunch and James Bent and Colton Morris added assists.

Each team was assessed four minors a fighting major and a game misconduct while the Crunch also picked up a 10-minute misconduct.
