Ducharme scored a hat trick as the Titan blanked the Charlottetown Islanders 4-0 at the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League Rookie Challenge tournament on Friday afternoon. Mathieu Blanchard also scored for Acadie-Bathurst, which scored two goals in each of the first two periods.
Gabriel Waked registered a 24-save shutout. Nolan Boyd gave up three goals on seven shots while Marc-Antoine Dufour allowed one goal on 15 shots for the Islanders.
Charlottetown plays the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles at the Superior Propane Centre on Saturday at 4 p.m.
