CHARLOTTETOWN – Summerside native Suzanne Birt is returning to competitive curling after a two-year break.

It was announced on Wednesday that Birt is forming a team with third stone Marie Christianson, second stone Meaghan Hughes and lead Michelle McQuaid.

MacPhee recently announced she is taking a break from competitive curling.

Birt is a former world junior, two-time Canadian junior and nine-time P.E.I. Scotties champion.
