ABRAM-VILLAGE – The Cape Breton Screaming Eagles have called up two local players for a Quebec Major Junior Hockey League exhibition game Sunday.

Forward Marc Richard and goaltender Daniel Thompson will join the Eagles for the 3 p.m. start at the Evangeline Recreation Centre.
Both players are currently attending the training camp of the Summerside D. Alex MacDonald Ford Western Capitals of the MHL (Maritime Junior Hockey League).
Richard and Thompson played in the New Brunswick/P.E.I. Major Midget Hockey League last season. Richard suited up with the Kensington Monaghan Farms Wild, and Thompson played with the Moncton Flyers.
