Alberton Regals rebounded from a 2-0 deficit Saturday night at the Tignish Credit Union Arena and defeated the Tignish Aces 3-2 in overtime.

With the win, the Regals take the West Prince Senior Hockey League’s best-of-five semifinal in four games. All four of the games were decided by one goal, and the Regals won two of them in overtime.

Scoring results from Saturday’s game are not available.

The Regals will host the defending league champions, the O’Leary Maroons, in the opening game of the best-of-five final. Both the Maroons, who played the regular season champions, Wellington Flyers, and the Regals lost Game One of their respective semifinal match-ups before coming back to win three straight to advance to the final. The schedule for championship series has not been released.
