SUMMERSIDE – The Summerside Capitals won a pair of P.E.I. Novice AA Hockey League games over the weekend.
The Capitals defeated Pownal Team Two 7-3, and doubled the Gulf Storm 4-2.

At the Pownal Sports Centre, Jett Mills scored four goals to pace the Capitals. Drew Murphy (2) and Ben MacGregor accounted for the other Summerside goals. Preston Dennis added an assist.
Sean Dwyer Colin MacCormac and Hugh MacDonald answered for Pownal. Nathan Rundle chipped in with two assists.
Winning goaltender was Colin Waddell.

At Credit Union Place, Preston Dennis (1-1), MacGregor, Nathan Martin and Nathan Jackson scored for the Capitals. Mills, Dennis, Jackson Ramsay and Caleb Adams added helpers.   
Connor Clark (1-1) and Truman Mann countered for Gulf Storm, with an assist credited to Alex Trivers.   
Waddell and Dylan Wile shared the goaltending win. Jack Clow was in nets for Gulf Storm.
