Midget Matrix prevails over Regals

KENSINGTON – Zac Wilson and Colin Goodwin each recorded two points to lead the Robins Mid-Isle Matrix to a 4-2 decision over the Western Regals.
The P.E.I. Midget AAA Hockey League game was played at Community Gardens on Tuesday night.
Wilson (1-1), Duncan Picketts, Owen MacFadyen and Ben Peters lit the lamp for the first-place Matrix, who improved to 11-2-1 (won-lost-tied). Colin Goodwin (2), David Sato and Zac MacKay added assists.
Jax Harper and Chandler DesRoches replied for the Alberton-based Regals (5-7-1). Alex Hutchinson and Ethan Oliver each added two assists.
The Matrix led 2-1 after the first and second periods.
Jonah Arbing earned the goaltending win.
