Metros right back in junior C final

The Metros posted a 5-3 road win on Saturday night to cut the Southside Lynx’s lead in the best-of-seven set to 2-1. The Metros have an opportunity to even the series with a win on home ice in Game 4 at the Cody Banks Arena on Monday at 7:30 p.m.
At the South Shore Actiplex, the teams were tied 1-1 after 20 minutes, and the Metros took a 3-2 advantage into the second intermission.
Evan Feehan and Owen Arsenault each scored twice for the Metros while Brechan MacLean contributed a goal and an assist. Jake Arsenault (2), Chad Wilson, Colin MacEachern, Matthew Sinnott and Zack MacDonald collected helpers.

CJ McCardle (1-1), Brady VanderVelden and Brandon Adams replied for the Crapaud-based Lynx. Single helpers were credited to Garrett Murray, Daniel Collister and Cameron Nelson.
Winning goaltender Blake Arsenault stopped 23 of 26 shots while Sean MacPhee turned aside 16 of 21 tests in the Southside cage.
