MONCTON, N.B. – Two players from Prince County were part of history on Wednesday night.

Defenceman Jacob Arsenault of Richmond and forward Jeremy McKenna of Summerside played for the Moncton Wildcats s the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League team played its final regular-season game at the Moncton Coliseum.

McKenna, who improved his point total to 75 in 66 games, scored his 36th goal of the 2017-18 season as the Wildcats trimmed the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles 9-3 before 6,674 fans.
The Wildcats will play the 2018 playoffs out of the Coliseum, before moving to a new downtown arena next season.
