O’LEARY – The O’Leary Maroons are one win away from repeating as champions of the West Prince Senior Hockey League.
Tyson Carragher netted a hat trick while Mike MacIsaac scored once and drew four assists in pacing the Maroons to a 10-3 victory over the Alberton Regals on Saturday night. The win gives the Maroons a commanding 2-0 lead in the best-of-five final. Game 3 is slated for the Jacques Cartier Arena in Alberton on Wednesday at 8:15 p.m.

At the O’Leary Community Sports Centre, Scott Bernard (2-2), Nick Reilly (2), Connor Dyment (1-1) and Darryl Donahue also scored for the Maroons. Other assists were credited to Jordan MacIsaac (2), Brett Gallant (2), Matt Stewart (2), Aaron Sweet (2), Darryl Donahue and Mike Adams.
Logan Smallman (1-2), Jason Smallman (1-2) and Mitch Hardy (1-1) countered for the Regals. Taylor Smith contributed an assist.
The Maroons led 2-1 after the opening period, and took control in the middle frame as the score after 40 minutes as 7-3.
Chase Dyment picked up the goaltending win.
