LeClair earns shutout as Wildcats blank Wind

SUMMERSIDE – Hannah LeClair had a perfect night in goal for the Mid-Isle Wildcats.

 

LeClair registered a shutout in backstopping the Wildcats to a 3-0 victory over the Western Wind on Thursday night.
The P.E.I. Midget AAA Female Hockey League contest was played at Credit Union Place’s Ice Pad.

Second period
After a scoreless first period, the Wildcats scored all three goals in the second frame. Lexie Murphy had a goal and an assist to pace Mid-Isle’s offence while Sophie Flynn and Makayla Larsen contributed single tallies. Charlotte Linkletter chipped in with an assist.
Danielle Gallant was between the pipes for Western.
The Wildcats and Wind will meet in a rematch at the Gateway Arena in Borden-Carleton on Sunday at 5:45 p.m.
