Fast start keys Wellington victory

ABRAM-VILLAGE – Marcel Landry scored two goals and added an assist to lead the Wellington Flyers past the Tyne Valley Tornadoes 5-2.
The Evangeline Recreation Centre was the site of the West Prince Senior Hockey League game Tuesday night.
Nick Arsenault (2) and Mitch Lamers also found the back of the net for Wellington, which jumped out to a 3-0 lead after one period. Justin Arsenault (2), Colin Arsenault (2) and Ben Johnson drew assists.
For the Tornadoes, who trailed 5-2 at the end of 40 minutes, Connor Dillon and Hardy Callaghan dented the twine. Adam Ballum, Matt Ballum, Evan Ballum and Adam MacLennan chipped in with helpers.
Jordan Arsenault earned the goaltending win over Jeff Noye.
