CRAPAUD – It was a big night for the Razzy’s P.E.I. Junior C Hockey League.
The league held its all-star game at the South Shore Actiplex in Crapaud while raising over $4,100 for Southside Lynx general manager Steve Watts, who is recovering from serious injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident last fall.
Watts has been a driving behind the Crapaud-based Southside Lynx the last number of years.
On the ice, the 2017-18 All-Stars outlasted the Alumni All-Stars 5-3.
Dalton Kemp (1-1), Tristan Gallant, Matt Bowness, Brady VanderVelden and Jake Arsenault dented the twine for this year’s all-star squad, which built period leads of 2-0 and 5-1. Single helpers were credited to Logan Toole, James Briand, Ethan MacFadyen, Dawson McCarthy, Derian Johnson and Ryan Beckingham.
Jake Larsen (1-1), Michael Lawless (1-1) and Andy Murphy answered for the Alumni. Jared Doucette and Ryan MacLeod picked up helpers.
