CHARLOTTETOWN – Drew Grady and James Duffy have been named the players of the week in the Razzy’s P.E.I. Junior C Hockey League.
Grady had an immediate impact after joining the Crapaud-based Southside Lynx, scoring three goals in his debut against the Summerside Cover-All Construction Crunch. Grady, who received the offensive award, then drew four assists in a win over North River, and provided a physical presence.
Duffy, who earned the defensive honour, posted a 23-save performance against the Tignish Perry’s Construction Aces to earn back-to-back shutouts for the Sherwood-Parkdale Metros.
Duffy now has a 127-minute shutout streak going, and his goals-against average is a league-leading 1.99. He also leads the league with a .942 save percentage.
