The Flyers doubled the North River Team One Rebels 6-3 in the gold-medal game.
Evangeline won all three round-robin games, and then got by the Sherwood Team Two Falcons 4-3 in the semifinals. Overall, the Flyers went 5-0 (won-lost) in tournament play.
Final
Against the Rebels, Austin Arsenault scored four goals and added an assist to lead the Flyers. Alain Arsenault netted a brace to round out Evangeline’s scoring. Gilbert Arsenault (2) and Brady Arsenault contributed assists.
Liam Wood (2) and Jackson Wood answered for the Rebels.
Miguel Arsenault, who recorded all five Evangeline wins, was the winning goaltender. Noah Visser tended goal for North River.
Semifinal
In the semifinal game, Austin Arsenault scored all four Evangeline goals while assists went to Brady Arsenault, Tianna Gallant and Jaden McInnis.
Reid Monaghan, Brady Schofield and Izak Loughley countered for the Falcons.
Miguel Arsenault earned the goaltending win, and Nathan Silliphant was between the pipes for Sherwood.
Round robin
In round-robin play, the Flyers defeated Pownal Team Four 2-0, Pownal Team Three 3-1 and North River Team Three Strikers 4-2.

After a scoreless first period, Austin Arsenault’s unassisted goal at 5:33 of the second period opened the game’s scoring. Tianna Gallant, who was assisted by Taylor Arsenault, made it 2-0 with 22 seconds left in the middle frame.
Miguel Arsenault recorded the shutout. Gibson Smith was between the pipes for Pownal.

Jaden McInnis netted a pair of goals and Austin Arsenault added a single tally to account for Evangeline’s scoring. Gilbert Arsenault and Alain Arsenault chipped in with helpers.
Matthew Redmond was credited with the lone Pownal tally.
Miguel Arsenault earned the goaltending win over Matthew Arsenault.
