The Vipers will host the Eastern Maniacs in the back end of a home-and-home series in the Island Junior Hockey League on Sunday. Fans are asked to note the start time has been moved up to 4:30 p.m.
The first-place Vipers will take a 13-7-4 (won-lost-overtime losses) record into Friday’s game against the Maniacs in Souris. The Vipers cannot take the Maniacs (4-12-1) lightly as Eastern is coming off a road win over the second-place Arsenault’s Fish Mart Western Red Wings (13-10-1) on Tuesday.
With only three points separating the Vipers and the teams even in games played, all points are very important.
