CHARLOTTETOWN – Nicholas Brown scored a hat trick and Dylan MacDonald earned four points to lead the Central Attack to a 10-1 triumph over the Summerside Capitals on Thursday night.
The Attack hosted the P.E.I. Midget AAA Hockey League game at the Cody Banks Arena.
MacDonald had one goal and three helpers while Braden Donnolly (1-2), Kyle Martin (2), Matthew McAulay (2), Joseph Hood (1-1) and Jake MacMillan also scored for the Attack, who now sits at 9-14-1 (won-lost-tied). Patrick Young (3), Ryan McCabe (2), Emmett Lyons (2), Teddy Robbins and Tyler Hashmi added helpers.
Brandon Gaudet netted an unassisted goal for Summerside (5-19-0).
The Attack held period leads of 1-0 and 5-0.
Winning goaltender was Alex Frangos.
