The goal of this event, notes a media release issued by Hockey P.E.I., is to celebrate the female game, unite Canadians in growing women’s hockey and provide grassroots programming from coast to coast.

“We greatly encourage everyone to participate, either as a player, volunteer or supporter,” notes the Hockey P.E.I. media release. “Female hockey has grown exponentially in the last 25 years, so let’s keep the momentum going.”
