TIGNISH

There has been a location and date change for a Don Johnson Cup game between the Island Junior Hockey League’s 2017 champions, the Arsenault’s Fish Mart Western Red Wings and the 2017 New Brunswick Junior B Hockey League champions, the Cap-Pele Predators. The game, which was to be played at the Evangeline Rec Centre on Dec. 17, has been moved to Saturday, December 16, and will be played, instead, at the Tignish Credit Union Arena. Game time in Tignish is 7:40 p.m.

The Red Wings Dec. 12 game at home against the Eastern Maniacs has been cancelled.

The seven-game winning streak has propelled the Red Wings to first place in the Island Junior Hockey League standings.
