QUEBEC CITY – Two players from Prince County registered points in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League on Sunday.

Defenceman Jacob Arsenault of Richmond scored his first goal as a member of the Sherbrooke Phoenix in a 4-2 road loss to the Quebec Remparts.
Arsenault, who was recently traded by the Moncton Wildcats to Sherbrooke, cut the Remparts’ lead to 2-1 at 3:34 of the third period.

In Rimouski, Que., forward Carson MacKinnon of Summerside earned an assist as the hometown Oceanic blanked the Victoriaville Tigres 9-0.
MacKinnon has three assists in Rimouski’s first two regular-season games.
