BATHURST, N.B. – The President Cup final is now a best-of-three affair.
The Blainville-Boisbriand Armada defeated the host Acadie-Bathurst Titan 4-1 Wednesday to even the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League final 2-2.
Game 5 goes Friday in Boisbriand, Que.
Drake Batherson had two goals on Wednesday while Alexander Katerinakis had a goal and an assist. Anthony Poulin and Luke Henman also scored while Alexandre Alain, Alex Barre-Boulet, Joel Teasdale and Antoine Crete-Belzile each had an assist.
Adam Holwell from Liam Murphy and former Charlottetown Islanders forward Mitchell Balmas replied for the Titan.
Emile Samson made 24 saves for the win while Evan Fitzpatrick stopped 20 shots in the loss.
The game was scoreless after the first period while the Armada took a 3-0 lead to the third.
Each team has won once on the road.
