He scored the game-winner in overtime in Game 1 with the Mooseheads. He had a goal and an assist the next day in Charlottetown’s 7-4 win.
The 20-year-old forward is tied for the league’s goal-scoring lead with linemate Keith Getson with eight goals.
The finalists for the award were Aquin’s teammate, goalie Matthew Welsh, and their former teammate Mitchell Balmas, an Acadie-Bathurst forward and Sydney, N.S., native.
