GEORGETOWN – The Tignish Perry’s Construction Aces exploded offensively on Friday night.
Eight different players recorded multiple points in Tignish’s 9-1 trimming of the Georgetown Eagles in the Razzy’s P.E.I. Junior C Hockey League.
Drake Smallman (2-2) and Brayden Handrahan (1-3) each had four points to lead the way for the Aces, who upped their record to 8-3-2 (won-lost-overtime losses). Will Tuplin (2-1), Dawson Sellick (1-2), Matthew Bowness (1-2), Brydon Smith (1-1) and Lexin Gaudet rounded out Tignish’s scoring. Brett Ramsay (3) and Colton Chaisson (2) added other helpers.
Dawson McCarthy, assisted by Jaden Nantes and Riley Lavandier, netted the goal for Georgetown (1-10-1).
Winning goaltender Andrew Gallant made 38 saves, and the Aces held period advantages of 2-1 and 6-1. Tignish directed 42 shots at the Georgetown goal.
The Aces host the Summerside Cover-All Construction Crunch (4-7-1) on Sunday at 6:30 p.m.
