“I'm going to be busy,” said MacDougall, who’s looking ahead to scouting possible recruits.
The Varsity Reds, who won their sixth Canadian university men’s hockey championship under MacDougall on Sunday, will have some holes to fill for the 2017-18 campaign.
“We have three fifth-years that will graduate, and a number of our fourth-years will graduate and a number of them will get good professional offers,” said MacDougall. “We have a couple of players who will get their degrees in three years who will get opportunities.
“One of the reasons people make the decision to come to UNB is the opportunity to be successful and to win, and the other is to develop.”
