CORNWALL – The Summerside Waterwise Spartans continue to prove to be the class of the Papa John’s P.E.I. Bantam Tackle Football League.

The Summerside Waterwise Spartans celebrate after being presented with the Ed Hilton Bowl following a 50-18 win over the Eastern Kings Steelers in Cornwall on Saturday afternoon.

The Spartans defeated the Eastern Kings Steelers 50-18 to make it back-to-back undefeated seasons, and win their third Ed Hilton Bowl in five years. The Spartans are 16-0 during this stretch.

At the Terry Fox Complex in Cornwall, Parker Cameron dominated running the ball for the Spartans, scoring six touchdowns. Dakota Fear also scored on a major as he picked up a Steelers’ fumble and scampered into the end zone.

Noah Manning led the Steelers with a two-touchdown performance.

The Spartans led 28-6 at the half.
