Spartans, Clippers hit the road

SUMMERSIDE – The Summerside Waterwise Spartans and Cooke Insurance Clippers will hit the road on Sunday.

The Summerside Waterwise Spartans will visit the Kings County Steelers in Rollo Bay on Sunday. The Papa John's P.E.I. Bantam Tackle Football League game will start at 1 p.m.

Both teams will travel to Rollo Bay, where the Spartans will take on the Kings County Steelers in a Papa John’s P.E.I. Bantam Tackle Football League game at 1 p.m. That contest will be followed by the Clippers facing the Souris Wildcats in a Papa John’s P.E.I. Varsity Tackle Football League contest at 3 p.m.
The Spartans, who are coming off a disappointing loss to the Cornwall Timberwolves at Eric Johnston Field on Sept. 29, will look to improve their season record to 2-2 (won-lost). Meanwhile, the undefeated Clippers are looking to go 3-0.
