BOISBRIAND, QUE. – Summerside’s Noah Dobson scored the game-winning goal and former Charlottetown Islanders forward Mitchell Balmas had two assists Friday as the Acadie-Bathurst Titan defeated the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada 4-3.

The Titan now holds a 3-2 lead in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League final. They can win the President Cup Sunday on home ice. Puck drop is set for 4 p.m. in Bathurst, N.B.

Friday in Boisbriand, Que., Samuel I’talien and Michal Ivan each had a goal and an assist in the victory while Ethan Crossman and captain Jeffrey Truchon-Viel (empty net) also scored.

Alexander Katerinakis, Joel Teasdale and Charles-Antoine Giguere scored for the Armada.

Evan Fitzpatrick made 33 saves for the win while Emile Samson stopped 28 shots in the loss.

Bathurst held 2-1 and 3-2 period leads.
