Wheelchair, blind curling demonstration at The Fox on Monday


SUMMERSIDE – ParaSport and Recreation P.E.I., in partnership with Spinal Cord Injury P.E.I., is offering a free wheelchair and blind curling have-a-go demonstration at the Silver Fox in Summerside on Monday at 6 p.m.

The demonstration is open to people with physical disabilities of all ages, and no experience is necessary. The goal of the event is to raise awareness of curling opportunities available for people with physical disabilities.
Sarah Fullerton, third stone with the Robyn MacPhee rink that recently represented P.E.I. at the Canadian women’s curling championship, will be leading the demonstration.
ParaSport and Recreation P.E.I., along with Spinal Cord Injury P.E.I., will host a funspiel for people with physical disabilities that will take place at the Cornwall Curling Club on March 25. This bonspiel is free and there is no experience necessary.
