BANGOR, MAINE – The Husson Eagles’ men’s golf team, which includes MacKenzie Clow of Summerside, recently opened its spring season under the hot Florida sun at the Kingsway Country Club for the Husson Spring Invitational.

The Eagles defeated St. Joseph’s College from Maine with match-play scoring. Clow outshot Cameron Letourneau 6 and 5.
At the 47th annual Marine Federal Credit Union championship in Camp Lejeune, N.C., the Eagles held a cumulative score of 605, just three strokes behind Surry Community College. The final day of competition was cancelled due to rain.
Clow sat atop the leaderboard averaging an even-par score between the two days after posting a 74 on Day 1, followed by a 68 on Day 2 for the best score of the weekend. Clow finished with a 142 total.
