SUMMERSIDE – A familiar face on the basketball court has been recognized by Three Oaks Senior High School in Summerside.

Logan Cameron, who has been lauded for an outstanding work ethic, has been selected as the school’s Greco Pizza/Capt. Sub student-athlete of the month.

“Logan was a three-year starter on the triple-A men’s basketball team because of dedication and hard work,” explained Axemen head coach Faro Halupa. “He was a player that could do everything, and brought outstanding leadership.
“This all culminated with the triple-A provincial championship this year, as well as being a triple-A first-team all-star and provincial tournament all-star.”

A Grade 12 student, Logan is the 17-year-old son of Tony and Mary Ellen Cameron of Wellington.

Volleyball
Logan played the off-side position on the P.E.I. School Athletic Association Senior AAA Boys Volleyball League-champion Axemen, and was a member of the Three Oaks golf team.
Logan also represented P.E.I. in men’s basketball at the 2017 Canada Summer Games.
Following graduation from high school, Logan plans to study business at UPEI.
