GEORGETOWN, P.E.I. – James Birt scored twice, including the game-winning goal, Tuesday as Summerside Cover All Construction Crunch defeated the host Clory Construction Eagles 6-3 in Razzy’s P.E.I. Junior C Hockey League action in Georgetown.

Tanner Jamieson had a goal and two assists in the win at Three Rivers Sportsplex while Remi Arsenault and Parker Harvey each added a goal and a helper. Chad Wilson also scored.

Brandon Arsenault had two assists while singles went to Birt, James Briand, Brandon Thomas, Cooper Phillips and Skyler Phillips.

Ryan Osborne, Kyle Murphy and Brett Hicken scored for Georgetown with assists going to Drew Christensen, Lucas Lavie, Dawson McCarthy, Jaden Nantes and Derian Johnson.

Connor Gallant made 36 saves for the win while Lucas Cann stopped 33 shots in the loss.

The game was tied 2-2 after the first period while Summerside took a 4-3 lead to the third.

The Crunch improved to 9-13-1 while the Eagles are 1-21-1.
