O’LEARY – It was a big night on home ice for Mike MacIsaac.
MacIsaac registered six points – three goals and three assists – in leading the O’Leary Maroons to an 8-6 victory over the Alberton Regals in a West Prince Senior Hockey League game at the O’Leary Community Sports Centre on Saturday evening.
Mike Adams and Tyson Carragher each had a pair of goals and an assist while Aaron Sweet netted the other tally as O’Leary improved to 2-3 (won-lost). Scott Bernard (2), Justin MacIsaac and Jonathan MacIsaac earned helpers.
For the Regals (2-1), who suffered their first loss of the season, Jesse MacIntyre netted a hat trick while Mitch Hardy was in on five goals, scoring once and assisting on four others. Jeff Duggan and Dylan Rayner rounded out Alberton’s scoring. Garrett Lewis (2), Tyson McNeill and Logan Smallman picked up assists.
The Maroons led 2-1 after one period, and 4-3 following 40 minutes.
