SUMMERSIDE – Three pitchers combined to toss a gem for the Summerside Chevys in P.E.I. Mosquito AA Baseball League play Sunday.

Max DesRoches, Ethan Cooper-Marotta and Ben Connolly allowed just two hits in the Chevys’ 15-3 victory over the Bedeque Blue Jackets at Queen Elizabeth Park’s Gordie Arsenault Field. The game was held as part of the Summerside Area Baseball Association’s annual Opening Day.
Offensively, Seamus Ramsay (2-2, walk, home run) and Karli Snow (2-3) paced the Chevys. Carter Duffy and Thatcher McKay had Bedeque’s hits.
Alex Gaudet was the pitcher of record for the Blue Jackets.
